B) Reporting Relationship: This role reports to the Director, Technical Services and Sales
Manager
C) Job Summary:
Marketing and selling of Biozone/Blue flame Energy Solutions Ltd products and services. i.e.
Animal Health, Organic farming, Sewer Recycling, Bio digester Septic and Biogas.
D) Tasks/Job Description
Duties and responsibilities entail:
- Initiate sales contact, understand customer needs and present applicable products and
services - Grow volume of sales within the existing customers
- Provide outstanding customer service to farmers/clients
- Farm visits training on calf, chick and piglet rearing, animal feeding, hygiene, forage
preservations - Offer technical support to farmers/clients regarding the products/services
- To provide extension services on agricultural practices coordinated by Biozone
- Farm visits on creating healthy soil, farm animals and sustainable farming practices.
- Make follow ups to farmers/clients to ensure success in their farms projects.
- Make Presentations and demos to farmers/clients on various agricultural events.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
E) Person Specification
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- Diploma in diary science & technology, Animal health, soil science, general agriculture, or
Agriculture related course from a recognized Institution. - Certificate in Sales/Marketing added advantage
- Computer literate
- 2 – 3 years’ progressive working experience
- Agricultural/ Environmental related certificate is an added advantage
- Certificate of good conduct
- Proficiency in English, Kiswahili and Kikuyu languages;(Region of operation/posting)
- Age (27-35 years)
- Be able to drive a motorcycle and have good knowledge of Kiambu county will be an added advantage
